I Have a Wee Bit of an Obsession...

So, I have this problem. I... am.... in.... love... with....
DINOSAURS.
My addiction is fueled by my friends because I have a collection of about thirty dinosaurs that were all gifts.
So, a couple weeks ago, I was at my little friends', and the older one, Benny had this amazing book about which dinosaurs would be best as domesticated house pets. I looooved it. It was set up like a dog book, and showed different personality quirks as well as tendencies (whether they were easily trained, worryingly dumb, or worryingly smart, if they ate other pets, or BABIES... etc.) and it showed how big they were compared to a human. Unfortunately I do not remember the title, but I intend to find out at buy that book.

The What I Would Name My Pet Dinosaur if Dinosaurs Were Not Extinct and Were Domesticated List

A) Alfred, Arkansan, Agnes
B) Blunie, Beverly, Benjamin, Broccoli
C) Chrysanthemum, Chubs

Friendly is a Pedophile Word

I got asked out on Friday of last week and it totally caught me off guard. I said no, but when said person asked, someone else close by said "he's friendly." And I was like, "wow, that's kind of a creepy word."
So in that theme, the list for today:

The Bad Pick Up Lines List
  1. "Bond. James Bond."
  2. "If I could rearrange the alphabet, I would put U and I together."
  3. "Can I buy you a drink or do you just want the money?"
  4. "If you were a new hamburger at McDonald's, you would be McGorgeous. "
  5. "Hi, I'm a necrophiliac, how good are you at playing dead?"
  6. "Playing doctor is for kids! Let's play gynecologist!"
  7. "Are we related? Do you want to be?"
  8. "Hi. Are you legal?"
  9. "Hi. You'll do."
  10. "I've got a pimple on my butt, wanna see it?"
  11. "You look just like my mother!"
  12. "You're ugly but you intrigue me."
  13. "The voices in my head told me to come over and talk to you."
  14. "If you were a booger I'd pick you first."
  15. "If I were to ask you for sex, would your answer be the same as the answer to this question?"

So that's the list. There are so many, whether creepy or cheesy, but those are the ones I found that I liked.
Ciao.

An Introduction : Life in a List

I had an idea last night to make a zine entirely composed of lists, but I figured a blog entirely composed of lists would be much easier. Also, hopefully keeping a blog will force me to improve or at least keep up my writing skills.
My goal is to post at least once a week, and make sure that all posts have a list in them...
So to introduce my random blog of lists of all shapes, sizes and subjects, I'll start with a list of the most influential things in my life.

The List of Things That Were a Part of Making Me Me List
  1. My mom and birth dad separating when I was a year old. This began a very stressful element of my childhood, and also meant that I had very different experiences than my siblings growing up.
  2. Being babysat by Wendy, and knowing her two kids Benny and Abi, and her husband Warren. They are my second family, and Benny and Abi are the kid bro and sis I never had. I've known them both since they were babies and we've all learnt a lot from each other. They are the raddest kids I know and I'm sure we really will be BFF.
  3. Learning to read & write. I have a really hard time talking about problems, and writing enabled me to convey emotion in a different way. Reading allowed me to experience all sorts of adventures I otherwise may not have been able to.
  4. My mom and dad getting married. It caused me to change my entire lifestyle. I switched houses and schools, my sister moved out, and I'm sure it changed me more than anything else.
  5. Going to camp for the first time. I was out of my comfort zone a little bit, but I met some amazing people and had a ton of fun. It made me think about everything, and gave me a place to escape to when other parts of my life were less than perfect.
  6. Moving to Plumas. This was totally and completely out of my comfort zone, but I learnt so much about myself and met amazing people.
  7. Finding music I enjoy, watching cheesy movies & making and observing art, all of which were heavily influenced by my big brother & sister.

Yeah, and that's what I can think of at the moment.
Peace. :)
